We had an great time at Capital Sci-Fi Con over the weekend, helping them celebrate 10 years!

Set-up in the main concourse, under super-smooth lighting, Halo Spartans & UNSC Marines greeted this years attendees and welcomed them to the O2 Academy, Edinburgh... taking photos, handing out stickers and sweets. I'm happy to report that a record amount said: "no thanks, I prefer fruit!".
Right next door was the JMC Crew and the Red Dwarf Sleeping Quarters and props display, which was popular as ever with everyone wanting to pick up the new Bazookoid, Lister's "Les" Guitar and the T. Holden's Tension Sheet... This time everyone seemed obsessed with asking for toast instead of confectionery!

Ian McDiarmid was making his Scottish Comic Con bow, which is incredible to believe given how long the Star Wars Emperor has been going... a long time. There was also a really touching tribute to the late Angus MacInnes with a table and memory book, which was duly written in.
We had fun running a raffle on both days and along with everyone who attended helped raise money for Capital's great cause, CHAS: Children's Hospices Across Scotland. We look forward to coming back next year and hope to see all the amazing and friendly people we met this year.
